The book A Journey of Hope was launched during Asha’s 25th Anniversary celebrations by British High Commissioner HE Sir James Bevan. It tells the story of Asha through the photographs of Ed Sewell and the reflections of Asha’s founder and director Dr. Kiran Martin. With a foreword by Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, the book is a beautiful record of the work of Dr Kiran and the communities she has inspired.
In addition, a small number of copies of Journey of Hope calendars are still available and will make superb gifts this holiday season!
The book costs £15.00 plus £2.60 postage & packing and the calendar costs £5.00 plus £1.10 postage & packing per copy. All sale proceeds go directly to fund Asha’s work.
Copies of the book and calendar are available with Friends of Asha (GB) Coordinator, Phil Leighton – just email him for more information on foasha.leighton@tiscali.co.uk.
