Asha Internship Programme completes its fourth year

The Asha Internship Programme that entered its fourth year with the launch of its 2015 wave in June saw a total of 49 students interning with diplomatic missions and renowned companies across Delhi NCR this year.

With no one in their families to act as a role model, students from the slums lack in soft skills that can often be key in cracking a job interview, and the internship programme only takes them a step closer to being ready for the competitive job market.

Building on the success of the last three years, the students received wonderful reviews from their supervisors at all places and many organisations have extended the internship durations this year as well.
