Celebrating 25 years of Transformation: A Thank You

The final event of Asha’s anniversary festivities was a thank-you dinner at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, which generously provided the venue for this evening. This event gave us an opportunity to express our gratitude for the many different ways that people have contributed to Asha’s success over the past 25 years.

Chief Guest Hon. Alex Chernov AC QC, Governor of Victoria, Australia, joined Dr. Martin in presenting tokens of gratitude to a number of distinguished persons who joined us this evening and at other events during the week.  We also had the privilege of welcoming HE Patrick Suckling, Australian High Commissioner, HE Takeshi Yagi, Japanese Ambassador, and HE Feilim McLaughlin, Irish Ambassador, as special guests for the evening.

Throughout the programme, Asha supporters, many of whom had traveled from abroad to attend the anniversary, were thanked for their role in Asha’s growth and development. Some of these guests spoke about how their involvement with Asha has impacted their own lives. Asha’s staff, board members, and the 25th anniversary organizing committee also received accolades for their hard work.
