Freddy’s visit to the schools in USA

Freddy’s visit to the schools in USA

Asha’s Associate Director, Mr Freddy Martin recently completed his trip to the USA. During his visit, he met many old and new Asha supporters and spoke about Asha’s work at various events. Freddy was accompanied by an Asha student, Babita, from Dr Ambedkar slum colony, who stood as a wonderful representative of thousands of Asha students from Delhi slums.

They first visited Chamberlain High School where Freddy briefed the students about Asha, while Babita shared her overwhelming journey as an Asha student. Later during the day, Freddy and Babita also visited Valley Oaks High School and Boys and Girls Clubs of Napa Valley. While Chamberlain High School serves students who are on formal probation, the Boys and Girls Club of Napa Valley provides youth aged 6-18 years of age with a safe and positive place after school, during most holiday breaks.
