Nuffield International Farming Scholars visit Mayapuri slum colony

A team of 10 farming scholars from Nuffield International visited Asha on 9th June, 2014. The team comprised scholars from Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe and Netherlands.

Soon after they arrived at the Asha headquarters, they were shown a documentary film about the work of Asha. Later they visited Mayapuri slum colony to meet with the community and observe their life and the work of Asha. They were amazed to see that the slum residents are not only content but also have smile on their faces despite all their problems.

This was the fourth annual visit of scholars from Nuffield International to an Asha community. We do hope that the team had an enriching experience.
