Team from California spends a week at Tigri

It was a matter of great joy for us to have had a team of seven members from United Methodist Church, Davis, California this week. The team was led by Alex who has been bringing teams out annually for the past many years. His wife Judith accompanied him on this trip for the first time.

Amongst all other activities, they also met with some of the college students with whom they engaged in discussions on subjects like higher education courses and their career prospects. The highlight of their visit for the kids at Tigri was a shadow puppet show on the story of Ramayana that they organised with the team throughout the week, and presented on their last day.

The team also joined Dr Kiran and Freddy Martin for a dinner at their home towards the end of their visit. The dinner was really special, with great conversations and much appreciation offered for the time they spent at Tigri. Thank you, Alex and team, for your wonderful work, hope to see back at Tigri soon!

Here are a few glimpses of their time at Tigri –
