It was a week of pure joy and fun for Asha’s Kusumpur Pahari centre when a team from Rainey Endowed School, Northern Ireland volunteered.

Each of the team member gained a renewed perspective on the meaning of true generosity, love, compassion, joy and dignity. Talking about the experience of working with the slum dwellers, one of the student responded, “Spending time with the community members made me realize to be happy even if you have nothing. It has made me appreciate what I have in my life.”
