Inauguration of ‘Hole in the Wall’ Project at Asha centre in Seelampur

We are excited to announce our new partnership with SONY India Ltd along with their implementation partner, NIIT Foundation. Yesterday at Asha’s Seelmapur centre a “Hole in the Wall” project was inaugurated by Mr. Simon Shimomura- CSR Head – SONY India Ltd.

‘’Hole in the Wall’’, is a unique Educational Project by Sony India Ltd. It consists of Hole in the Wall learning stations, having two user windows using special ruggedized hardware enclosure panels in a setting which is conveniently accessible by the target audience. The Learning Stations are equipped with more than 500 digital titles of Educational resources as well as games in English and Hindi covering subjects like English, Maths, EVS, Social Science, General Science, Computer, Life Skills etc. This project has been implemented in many parts of India by Sony India Ltd. in collaboration with NIIT Foundation.

Glued to the new tool of learning. Going the digital way!

This will be a great learning tool for the slum children in Seelampur and provide Knowledge in a fun learning mode. This will also bridge the digital divide existing between the slums and the mainstream communities and help in overall development of the children.

We thank our new-found partner for this great initiative. Our children are ecstatic with his new way of learning.
