Easter Lunch with students
Easter Lunch is always a wonderful occasion, with family or with friends. And what better way to celebrate Easter with some amazing children. Dr Kiran hosted an Easter lunch for a few Asha students at her residence. It was an afternoon of fun, food and spending some quality time with the students, sharing their experiences.
It was the first time for some of the students to be celebrating Easter. Dr Kiran had a lovely time interacting with them, hearing their stories and experiences. She beautifully explained the message of Easter and how a story of great sorrow turned into one of great joy. She emphasized on two key words that resonated this Easter, which are ‘joy’ and being ‘fully alive’ in Christ. A Revelatory thought that really inspired them.
Some of the students shared some of their experiences illustrating generosity, compassion, gratitude and joy and how these values have invoked a sense of responsibility to reach out and make a difference in their community.
