Mr Martin and Tushar met supporters and Friends of Asha in the UK

Mr Martin and Tushar met supporters and Friends of Asha in the UK

The month of November has been an eventful one for Tushar, an Asha Ambassador and a college student from the Mayapuri slum colony. Tushar travelled to Great Britain along with Freddy Martin, Associate Director of Asha, to speak at various events organised by Friends of Asha. Representing the Asha student body, Tushar spoke about the challenges of living in the slums and the impact of Asha’s work in their life.

Tushar and Freddy in their three-week stay spoke at various schools such as Sherborne Schools, Queensmead Primary Academy, Collingwood College, Hope Community school as well as at the inspiration leaders conference and first Hope & Spice Supper Club dinner.

We take this opportunity to thank each Asha supporter especially Trustees of Friends of Asha GB without whom this comfortable and successful UK trip would not have been possible.

Freddy and Tushar are currently headed to Northern Ireland.
