We were delighted to have CanAssist Society (New Delhi) Chair, Jennifer Graham and Malti Bhandari, Public Diplomacy & Cultural Relations Advisor at Canada in India (High Commission of Canada), visiting Asha yesterday, on 30th March 2017.
On her first visit to Asha, Ms Graham was warmly welcomed at Mayapuri slum community, before having a brief tour at the headquarter. She had a lovely interaction with the Women’s and Children’s Association and was thoroughly impressed with Asha’s work to bring about a positive change in the lives of the slum dwellers.
Ignoring the sweltering weather, the guests took a walk in the community to experience life in a slum first-hand.
We thank CanAssist for all their support to Asha and hope we can continue expanding our association with them. We would love to host Ms Graham again!
