Giving talks and sharing information about Asha achieves more than just fundraising. It spreads the word that we exist. Every person who experiences your sharing will talk to other people, which can lead to still more engagement and giving. We actively encourage supporters to advocate on our behalf, because you never know where it may lead.

Many commercial organisations such as banks, financial advisers and companies (who want to demonstrate their social responsibilities) are keen to get involved or donate to worthy causes – you just have to ask.

Often, organisations will have a cause on which they can focus their staff’s energies for fundraising. Many schools and companies look for charities such as Asha to partner with.
There are many resources on this website (eg pictures, up-to-date information for talks etc) which are freely available for you to use. Also there may be trustees in your country who can help with supporting materials, such as leaflets, displays, books for sale etc. They might even be prepared to give a talk about Asha, if it is easily arranged.
