Dear Friends,
Warm greetings from all of us at Asha.
We are delighted to share the latest issue of Hope with you. This issue carries stories that are difficult to read, but important to share. It focuses on women in our communities who are holding their families together while quietly battling hunger, illness, and deep exhaustion. As you will see in Dr Kiran’s message, when a woman’s health begins to fail, the impact is felt by everyone around her.
You will meet women like Reshma, Lalita, Gulshan, and Rubi. Each of them is doing everything possible to care for their children, often with almost nothing. Many eat last, and sometimes not at all. Yet they continue to carry the weight of their families every single day.
Through this newsletter, we are reaching out to you with an urgent need. We are preparing to launch a Women’s Nutrition and Health Care Programme to support women already at a critical stage.
Your support can make this possible.
Even a small contribution can help provide daily nutrition and healthcare to a woman who has gone without both for far too long. When her health improves, her children feel it first.
Thank you for standing with us and for being a constant source of strength to the communities we serve.
With warm regards and deep gratitude,
The Asha Team
