Sunil and Shikha Lal lead the Sydney Chapter of Friends of Asha Australia and have been supporting Asha for over eight years. Their commitment comes from the heart, and they remain deeply invested in the vision of creating lasting change in underserved communities.
They recently organised a special luncheon at the Parliament House of New South Wales in honour of Asha’s work. The event was attended by Hon. Ben Franklin, who shared thoughtful words of support. Several distinguished members of the community were also present.
The gathering helped raise awareness about Asha’s work and also served as a lead-up to a fundraising event planned at the Parliament on 10 September.
