Celebration of Mother’s Day at Asha slums

To all the women who provide motherly love and warmth, we at Asha had joined hands to celebrate this special day.
All the Asha slum communities organized an exclusive event to express their love for mothers, grandmothers and all the special women in their lives.

The Asha’s Bal Mandal (Children’s Association) and the other Asha Students & Graduates celebrated the day by organizing cultural events, practising affirmation and gratitude and presenting beautiful handmade cards.
The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and potluck lunches. Also, the students specially thanked Dr Kiran for providing motherly care and guidance to them.
This beautiful moment made all the participants tearful and emotional!
