On June 12, 2015 Dr Kiran hosted a farewell dinner to bid adieu to Asha’s ardent Ambassador Jill Sinclair. Her remarkable contributions to Asha’s work over the past three years have been immensely significant. Jill’s husband, Mark and daughter, Elin have also been closely involved in Asha’s programmes.
Jill was instrumental in not just creating content for the coffee table book – ‘A Journey of Hope’, but has dedicatedly worked on varied literatures, organised Asha’s events at the British Council and High Commissioner’s residence, and introduced many wonderful Volunteers to Asha’s work.
Jill’s close friends gathered for the dinner. Dr Kiran praised Jill for her pure diligence and enthusiasm. “Knowing Jill and working with her has been a beautiful experience. She has never said no to any work and has been a wonderful support system for us at all times”, she added.
Deeply moved by the words of appreciation by the Asha team and friends, Jill thanked everyone and congratulated Dr Kiran earnestly for the wonderful work that is being done throughout Asha communities.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jill for her unwavering support and commitment. We wish her great success in future.
