This is what Mother’s Day was like in Asha’s slum communities. A day full of affirmation and gratitude displayed by the children towards their mothers. The one filled with emotional moments when children gifted handmade cards to their mothers. In our Kalkaji community, mothers gathered and prayed for the well-being of their children, Dr. Kiran and the whole Asha family.
Our thoughtful children also expressed their gratitude and love towards Dr. Kiran through these beautiful handmade cards with messages. A mother to all the children, Dr. Kiran through her love for the slum children has given a new meaning to the lives of these children which they are always grateful for.
