Dr Kiran: Distributing the Thinkpads with love

Dr Kiran: Distributing the Thinkpads with love

As technology is advancing every day, the world is progressing alike. Laptops and desktops have started playing a significant role in academics too. From a luxury possession, it has now turned into a must-have gadget for those who seek professional degrees and decent jobs.

Be it applying to the academic courses or hunting for a job, a laptop has become the need of the hour for everyone.

But think of those underprivileged and deprived! Buying a laptop is a mere dream for them all. Those bright students living in the slums bag shining medals and trophies in the college but when it finally comes to reap the benefits, they fail. Why?

They DO NOT OWN a computer or LAPTOP where they can find out their dream job or keep themselves updated and well-learned.

Witnessing the need, Asha decided to make its students technologically sound. The laptops, donated by the British Telecom India, are now helping the Asha students. Continuing Asha’s laptop campaign, Dr Kiran Martin, Founder and Director at Asha, distributed the laptops to the students belonging to Asha slum communities to help them make their dreams come true with it.

We are so happy to share a few glimpses of those precious moments:
