An inspiring and meaningful conversation took place at the Australia India Institute during an “In Conversation” interview featuring Dr Kiran Martin and hosted by the Institute’s dynamic CEO, Lisa Singh.
Over the years, Lisa and Dr Kiran have built a strong connection, and it has been deeply encouraging to see Lisa’s genuine commitment to Asha’s mission, especially in supporting Asha students studying in Australia.
It was also a proud moment to see Tushar serve as the MC for the event. Watching an Asha student confidently lead the conversation truly reflected how far these young people have come with the right opportunities and support.
Asha international students Nancy and Chandan were also present, alongside academics, NGO representatives, and individuals from many different walks of life. The discussion focused on equity, education, and creating opportunities for underserved communities.
