To celebrate the spirit of Womanhood, our corporate partners joined in to make the Women’s Day celebrations even more memorable. We were glad to have a team from Barclays India, a British multinational banking and financial services company, to celebrate International Women’s Day at Seelampur community on March 7, 2017.
They interacted with the women and were thoroughly impressed on how empowering the women of the community are, despite all the hardships. The team also encouraged the women towards girl-child education and savings and brought in some goody bags for the women.
On March 8, 2017, the Asha team was invited at Macquarie Global Services, Gurgaon. Asha’s University student, Varsha and Community Health Volunteer, Snehalata were given the opportunity to share about their transforming journey.
The gathering consisted of over 70 comprised of senior officials from the corporate. Thank you, Barclays India and Macquarie Group for all your time!
