Rotary Club donates medical equipment to Asha

Rotary Club donates medical equipment to Asha

On 29th August 2014, a meeting of members of the Rotary Club of Delhi Southend was organised at the Asha headquarters. It was a highly interactive meeting where the Rotarians watched a documentary film on Asha and asked a lot of questions about the latest developments in all programmes. The meeting was followed with the official presentation of medical equipment that includes blood pressure monitors, stethoscope, baby weighing scales and vaccine carriers etc. to be used in Asha’s health projects.

Inspired by the work that Asha is doing in the slums, Rotarians Mrs and Mr Mukesh Lekhi, who were also celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary that day, presented Asha with a donation to commemorate the day.
