Dr Kiran invited over 30 Asha Student Ambassadors for a meeting to formulate an action plan ahead of the college admissions. Also joining them for the meeting was Friends of Asha (GB) coordinator, Phil Leighton.
Student Ambassadors suggested that the high school students should be engaged in more workshops focusing on choosing a career of their interest. They also came up with a list of Universities where more courses could be explored. Dr Kiran suggested that the students should brush up their basic English speaking and Computer skills, as that would give them a great confidence boost.
Congratulating them for the remarkable work they have been doing, Phil and Dr Kiran has warm words of encouragement for the students as they continue to work hard – battling all personal hardships, balancing professional commitments.
