Aryan: A young volunteer at Asha

Education is the key through which one can liberate and achieve their goal and live a dignified life ahead.

Aryan, a high school student from Washington, US instills the same concerns towards education going parallel with Asha.

He came to Asha and volunteered this month at Asha’s Dr Ambedkar Basti.
The entire slum community welcomed Aryan with enthusiasm and happiness. As soon as he started spending time with the Asha Students; a beautiful bond built between them. The students were benefitted from Aryan’s English tutorials and innovative practices to maximize their concentration techniques. Various activities were conducted, and regular sessions with a group of 15 students from the Primary section were initiated to improve their English communication.

To believe in the power of education, new skills and remain generous have been Aryan’s ideologies throughout his tenure. Aryan says, he has learnt Asha values from the community; the experience has taught him to think about God’s blessings in his life and be generous towards different communities who are less privileged.

Asha students and Team are thankful to Aryan for his contribution to improving their communication skills.
