The Asha Internship Programme 2018 successfully completed its seventh year with 62 Asha students interning at prominent multinational companies and diplomatic missions across Delhi NCR.
Asha’s Internship programme was formally launched on 25th May 2018 at Australian High Commission, New Delhi for the third consecutive time.
This year also several Asha students were being offered few weeks extension of internship (from 4 weeks to 6 weeks) in different multinational companies and diplomatic missions. With their aptitude, at least five immaculate Asha students, have secured permanent and part-time jobs for themselves.
Till now, 352 Asha students with the support and supervision from various professionals, got the opportunity to learn about the intricate details of professionalism and gained insights into the corporate world.
We are thoroughly grateful to our Internship partners namely Australian High Commission, British High Commission, New Zealand High Commission, Embassy of Ireland, Macquarie, Mazars, Rio Tinto and F1F9 for extending their hands as every other year to provide a platform for the young talent of the Asha slums.
We are also obliged to have new partners on board that include Indian Monetary Fund (SARTTAC), BeDesire, Royal Norwegian Embassy, Embassy of France, Embassy of Greece and Embassy of Belgium.
