Dr Kiran and Asha graduate Mahinder were given a very warm welcome by Shemara Wikramanayake, Head of Macquarie Asset Management and her senior colleagues at Macquarie Bank at their HQ in Sydney.
They spoke about their cherished partnership and the wonderful ways in which Asha and Macquarie India have been working together for many years under the dynamic leadership of Executive Director Sandeep Dhawan. Many young people from the slums of Delhi had experienced deep transformation as a result of their involvement with Macquarie.
Shemara spoke of how much Macquarie valued Asha as a partner, and expressed that the partnership could be taken to the next level in many ways. She was delighted to hear Mahinder’s story and of the important role, Macquarie had played in his journey that had brought him to Australia.
