His Royal Highness was delighted to learn about Asha’s work particularly its health initiatives and the Women Association’s work in the local slum. He complimented them by saying, “I think you will be a wonderful group for the scheme- Points of Light as you are already doing a lot for your community and others”.

His Royal Highness was impressed meeting Asha’s Women Association and appreciated them for their work in the community.

The Asha children, holding placards that read “Points of light”, were excited to be photographed, with His Royal Highness. Points of Light are outstanding individual volunteers – people who are making a change in their community.
