As one of Asha’s slum community – Savda Ghevra – completes its 10 years of existence in 2016, this issue brings to you the story of developments that have taken place over the years.
For slum dwellers who were devastated during the demolition of their homes in Thokar No. 8 in 2006, moving to a new place and having to build everything from scratch, these 10 years have been very overwhelming.
You will also come across some inspiring efforts of our children from slum colonies, who are creating awareness about issues like intolerance and prevention from dengue, and so on.
