In this issue, you will read about Asha’s Financial Inclusion Programme, and how it has been improving the financial status of slum residents of Delhi.
One such example is of Poonam from Anna Nagar community, who was able to start-up her own business with the help of a loan.
You will also read about Dr Kiran’s trip to Australia in May this year where for the first time ever, an Asha graduate was selected to accompany her. The issue also highlights about Asha’s Internship Programme 2016, and the completion of its five years terms.
This year, around 50 Asha students interned with the Corporates, Embassies and High Commissions.
