Team Ballymena volunteers at Asha

Team Ballymena volunteers at Asha

We were delighted to have old supporters from Ballymena, Northern Ireland with us for about 2 weeks. From builders to homemakers, pastor to sports therapist-the team consisted of 14 people from all walks of lives who volunteered at different Asha centres, as well as the Asha Headquarter.

During their time spent at Asha, they were involved in various activities. Here are a few glimpses…

The builders built a house in Savda Ghevra, as well as renovated Asha headquarter.

Some members of the team also spent time conducting activities with the children at Asha’s Peeragarhi centre.
They involved the children of Seelampur slum colony in face painting activities.

Interestingly, the team also held some stress-busting activities for the women from new Seelampur area. Seen here are women involved in adult colouring activities.
