Team from Methodist College volunteers at Asha

Team from Methodist College volunteers at Asha

It is surely delightful to have volunteers who work round the clock for the betterment of the Asha slum communities. Recently we had a team of 16 people from Methodist College Belfast who volunteered with us at Kalkaji slum colony, for about a week starting from 24th October.

During their stay, the team enthralled the children by painting beautiful murals and conducting art and craft activities. One of the best part of their visit was, they built a library and brought story books, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, et al at the centre which will be very helpful for all the Asha students.

Not restricting themselves to only this, the team counselled impending college students and their parents, advocating for a better future.

We are glad to get support from such wonderful bunch of people. Thank you, team for your assiduous work.
